Neil. Good news that you have kept on top of this bike - so many are now being broken for spares in the US - it is a crying shame but at least the parts get re-cycled on eBay! I am still working on my V7 re-build and have found Moto Mecca and Moto Ecosse useful for spares and Mike at Moto Corsa is also rebuilding a V850 presently and has given me good advice. Harpers in US are good value too for spares if you can get stuff sent to a US mailbox otherwise it gets too expensive and negates the £/$ advantage. A posting into a Moto Guzzi free zone - Kuwait - has seen my project put on hold for a while but I'll see if I cannot upload some pics onto the SG website. Ride safe! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. I have seen quite a number of loop frame parts go through flea-bay recently. Just a bit of an update since the piece was written...Neil and Steve (CaliIIrider) have done a bit of a trade. Steve is now the proud owner of the GT850 while Neil now owns Steve's Le Mans II in the rare black/gold colour scheme:

Steve's dodgy knees wouldn't allow him to ride the Le Mans anymore and Neil had been after a LMII for a while so they did the decent thing and swapped. Great for us down here as we get to see the GT in the flesh now as Steve is local but Neil lives a couple of hundred miles away.

I hope you get back to civilisation (a place with Guzzis on the road!) and look forward to pics of your project.

Cheers

Joe
