Guzzi Custom
Jan 24 2007, 2:52 AM EST Joe, I've got a 1998 Centauro and I'm getting real close on picking up an Eldo or Ambo. I have a connection to a police model right now but I have to raise a little more funds before I can get it. Right now, my Guzzi gets big props from everybody but especially the Harley crowd. A friend of mine and I have been throwing around ideas to build our own custom bike and I keep saying we need it to be Guzzi powered. And it needs to be bad enough to scare the cruiser and sportbike crowd. Well, that custom cycle on the website is just the inspiration that I need!!!! So, please keep after Gary to find whatever photos he has!!!! I've got some pretty cool photos of my Centauro that I can send you but I'm working on the road right now and the photos are at home. So, I will send them when I get a chance. Keep up the work on website and I'll check back form time to time to see how it's going... Thanks, Alan Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Guzzi Custom
Jan 24 2007, 2:54 AM EST Hey Alan When you do get hold of the Eldo/Ambo you gotta let us know...pics and all that and we'll feature it. I'm not surprised your Centauro's bigged up, they are much underrated bikes. Here the press slated it but those that know bikes weren't fooled by them press baboons and quite a few still sold. I nearly bought one, but because my commute was gonna be inxs of 200 mile round trip I settled on a Cali instead...but those Centauros move! You're damn right your custom should be Guzzi powered, if you want it to kick arse!!! I got some news for you on the mad custom on our homepage...I've spoken with the owner and creator, a chap called Filippo Barbacone and he's agreed for me me to write a feature on him!... so keep an eye out on our site. It's all in Italian at the mo' so I'm still translating it but it'll be ready soon...in the short term, go to our links page and click the link for Firestarter Garage for more pics of that crazy machine. Good to hear from you again, glad you enjoy the site. Joe Do you find this valuable? |
