Cafe candidate found !!!!
Greetings folks,I'm back with good news (I hope),and a question.I just got back from Dayton,Ohio (800 miles round trip),with my cafe project bike.Found it on Craig's list. The bike I was considering in Texas turned out to be a T5 which,as I found has a few (not-too-serious)issues,so I opted for the '76 850T3.It's a complete runner that's had rings replaced as well as several seals that were leaking. Also new tires. The question concerns a new clutch that has been installed. The clutch that was installed is a RAM low inertia unit.I've owned a Ducati and am familiar with a dry clutch "rattle",but this thing sounds bad ! I know it's the clutch because the noise stops when you disengage it.The motor sounds great and runs fine and quiet.Does anyone here have any experience with this unit? Is this normal? Thanks,Steve C.

NICE!
Hey there Nige, nice going...Looking at the way it was before with the "tasteful" backrest I can see why you decided some changes were needed. I think that's a really interesting job you've done on it and, as you know, it's something I'm keen to do to my Jackal as my backside's shape is being altered by the Jackal's seat! I'm glad the conversion is possible as I was beginning to think it may not be...where did you get the amazing seat?
Joe
