The Scottish rally is an event organised by the
Moto Guzzi Club of Great Britain. The largest and longest running of the Moto Guzzi clubs from these shores.
This year's event was held at Guildtown Village Hall in the Perthshire area of Scotland. A number of Squadra Guzzista members joined the throng:
Guy rode on his Stelvio with Helen on her V11,
Haydn took his newly acquired Cali with his wife on her Breva 750 whilst well seasoned traveller
Patrick rode up on his trusty Jackal.
It is terrific that they all managed to meet up there and all returned with tales of the fun they had. They also managed to meet Gyles and the awesome MGS Corsa that he's racing this year and to sample the demo bikes brought up by local dealer Moto Ecosse. The following photos have been submitted by our intrepid travellers!

Patrick:- Got back yesterday about a 1,000 mile return run. Good shakedown for the coming Euro trip. I have found a superb Inn at a little village in N. Yorkshire, called Ovington. It's near Richmond and a few miles from Scotch Corner, so it's an ideal stop over. It is called The Four Als, I got single occupancy of a double room with one of the best breakfasts I have eaten, for £35 a night.
They also brew there own beer on site and sell it for £2 a pint. The Rally was good and Moto Ecosse showed all the latest models.
I met up with Guy and sat on his Stelvio and saw Haydn too. Heres a few pics:

Guy:- left for the Scottish Rally on his brand new Stelvio accompanied by his Helen on her gorgeous wine coloured V11 Sport and a group of eleven other riders from the Huddersfield/Halifax/Barnsley area. Guy also took his camera...because we like pics:

| Meaty looking combo | Yorkshiremen gather under their rose | V11...nice |
Haydn:- Is our man in Scotland and he made his way to the rally with better half Linda on her Breva 750ie. Haydn's most difficult decision must have been which Guzzi to take owning, as he does, a Le Mans IVSE, a V11 Sport, and a Cali. He opted for the Cali, a gorgeous green and black example. The following are photos taken by Haydn:

Our chaps all came back cheerfully exclaiming how much fun they'd had at 2008's Scottish Rally. Are any of the above bikes yours? Get in touch and let us know how it all went! Better still, join the wiki and tell us all about your Guzzi!
