Our Restaurant, Casa Bóveda, opens its doors to you from Carril, in Villagarcía de Arosa, to offer you the finest of the most traditional of cuisine from Galicia.

Following many years of experience in the business, Chito Bóveda opens a homely and welcoming restaurant in 1992, set in a wonderful and unique location in the old harbour of Carril, overlooking the magical and unspoilt island of Cortegada.

With the masterful hand of his wife, María Josefa, at the cooking helm, we are purveyors of a tradition of seafaring cuisine representative of a Galicia that we wish to preserve. On the menu, based upon a selection of the most fresh and prime resources of the sea of Arousa, we find the most exquisite fish and seafood dishes, as well as the most exemplary traditional specialities of this most ancient and unspoilt region of Spain.

The setting is truly wonderful. On approaching the small fishing port of Carril you are met by the sight of the wonderfully unspoilt Isle of Cortegada, nestled in the sheltered waters of the Ria de Arosa. Come and experience the history and Celtic tradition of this magical, ancient land and its unique and diverse cuisine.
