Photography Competition, Squadra GuzzistaFantastic photography competition!

Winners announced...see below!!!

July is World Moto Guzzi Month!

I have declared the month of July to be International Moto Guzzi month.

To celebrate, the 2010 Squadra Calendar will be based upon this glorious month. The 12 winning entries will be glorified in next year's calendar.

Those of you who have obtained one will already know what a nice looking thing it is.

As you all know, each year we have a photography competition to find images for our calendar. We started doing this in 2007 to find images for the 2008 calendar and it was so successful we did it again last year.

This is now the third year of the competition, so get out with your Guzzi in July and send in your image, you could be one of the lucky winners!

Squadra Guzzista Photography Competition 2008

The theme of the competition is "On the road". It is up to you how you interpret this theme, but the image should show Moto Guzzi on the road. The idea is once again that we find 13 images for our 2009 calendar. One for each of the twelve months and one for the cover.

Last year's competition was our first one and we have learned a lot from it that's why this year we are starting it in May, to allow you to take full advantage of the summer months and of the time of year when most motorcycling events are held. The competition will end on 1st September which, will allow us plenty of time to print the calendar and to post it out so that you have it in your hands before the start of 2009.

One very important request from us...please read the rules carefully. We receive very large numbers of images and any that don't meet the criteria must be rejected. Last year many entrants were submitting links to their online albums. Please do not do this as the hosted images are not large enough. In the last competition this led to us rejecting some magnificent photographs because of this.

If there is anything you do not understand please contact us at info@guzzista.com and we will do what we can to help you. The video on the left is to show you the images that made this year's calendar!
