Moto Guzzi Big Twins

Moto Guzzi Big Twins"With its massive twin cylinders splayed at 90 degrees across the frame, shaft drive, and distinctive exhaust note, no motorcyclist ever mistakes a Moto Guzzi for anything else. From the V700 of 1967 to today's VI1 Sport, VI0 Centauro, and VI1 EV, Moto Guzzi has staked out a unique niche among high-performance two-wheelers.

Moto Guzzi Big Twins is based on countless hours of groundbreaking research including interviews with legendary Guzzi designers and engineers such as Giulio Carcano, Umberto Todero, Lino Tonti, and Dr. John Wittner. Author Greg Field's text separates fact from fiction to tell the real story of the design and development of all the great Guzzi big twins. More than 120 color and historic black-and-white photographs and advertisements—many of them from Moto Guzzi's archives—illustrate this fascinating story.

Moto Guzzi Big Twins is the essential book for all fans of this classic Italian marque.

Moto Guzzi Big Twins
This 128 page, soft back book is beautifully illustrated with full colour throughout, although a number of photographs are in black and white this is because they were originally shot on black and white film! For me, this is the quintessential book on the big block Moto Guzzi V-Twins. From the V700 of 1966 to the V11 Sport of 1998 it covers all the big block Moto Guzzi's. Greg Field has a great writing style and the book just pulls you in. A very dangerous book to read if you are getting itchy feet about buying a 'new' bike! Just reviewing it makes me want to go out and buy an 1100 'Spot' !

An awesome book, very highly recommended.
