Just joined the Squadra, too! I ride a '99 Bassa, (among others). Original owner, had it for about 9 years. Probably the most reliable bike I've ever owned. Love it, and the looks she gets any time I take her out!

I was looking at my bike and once again i was trying to understand why Italians preferred the name "Bellagio" than the first attempt "940 Custom" which -to my taste- was at least more bike-y...

Why a bike of almost a 1000cc, with a dark look, huge intakes, dragster steering and seamless exposed rear fender and tyre, was been called like a Sunday girl or a retired gran-mo.
Just from a place? Nearby Lake Como? The town "Bellagio"? I don't think it was (only) that!

The name has to be born from the complex Italian word "Bellagio=Bella+Agio" which in English means Belle and Leisure. The place Bellagio is indeed made for leisure and "agio" facing Lake Como which -and it's environment- is one definition of belle and "bella". Like the bike.
I believe that Bellagio is for Moto Guzzi the bike for drifters in style. Something like the European and Middle East Easy Rider of our times.

Pay attention that (air cooled) Bellagio is been produced equipped with tubed tyres of big enduros.
Which means that is ready to be used in some hard and dry terrains from people carrying food and water and tools.

Hi all,

Since our forum is down, I figured I'd let you know that I uploaded a few more shots. The new shots are from my Cherohala Skyway ride last Monday. I not only did the Skyway both ways, but wound up doing 410 miles in one day!

Anyway, hope you like the shots.

This is a great website...Of course I love anything Guzzi. I am lucky enough to own three Guzzi's at this time. A 74 V7 Sport, a 77 850 Lemans and a 95 California 1100...I like the site and the forum and appreciate your commentment to the brand we love here in the USA...Thanks Steve & Leila Walker

Hi There from Ireland.

I am to collect a Nevada 750 in 4 weeks. A shop sold it to me second hand. It is in good condition. The mechanic and I could not find the choke (!!!!). Could someone please let me know where it is and how to locate it.
