Has anyone has their fuel pump hose come loose? My bike - 2007 CalVint - seems to have a pump with an anaemic nipple bulge - and hence the hose will dislodge. Since this is an internal pump it is a bit more dodgy than just reattaching. Strategies?

Hi Guzzisti!
Want to start by saying thanks to Joe for helping me access this forum - not sure what was happening (probably me!) but I couldn't get onto it. A couple of emails to Joe and all was fine. Some of you may know me from the MGOCUK site or Wild Guzzi - a picture or two of my bike is posted on WG under the Cafe Racer thread. Based in Brighton (Oh really??) I ride a LMV in a LM1 frame that was originally built by Nic Smullion. Its a tatty looking thing but underneath the crud lies a real beast! I have yet to meet any other Guzzi riders, well I met one once but I try to avoid him now! So I wondered if anyone fancied a day out in Brighton on Sunday 11th October for Brightona - a bike event in aid of the Sussex Heart Charity. I've been to the last few of these and they are always very interesting. Yeah you get lots of very shiney Harleys but you do see some lovely bikes from right across the range - Mad V Max? Check, Rat trike? Check? Concourse Norton? Check? Crazy Custom? Check Anyway, I plan to be there and it would be great to say Hi to anyone else that plans to turn up. See you on the road sometime! |

Hi, Any one going to the Ragged Fringe ? (NSW Moto Guzzi Club rally) For those that arent native, the Ragged Fringe is on for the 20th year and a camping only rally held at Bretti Reserve off Thunderbolts Way (Google Earth it ) in some of the best riding country on gods earth. Leaving Melbourne ( Australia ) on my '73 eldo on Thursday 10th . Love some company ( 2 can carry more spare parts ) . I will be going up the coast, meeting a mate in Windsor and then , up the putty and on to the backroads . Heading home via the Olympic H,way. About 3000 km. Please return any nuts and bolts, tent ect found on h,way. Will post report and pics after. Pete
