How long have I been riding bikes? Only a year actually!

Why Moto Guzzi? I've recently bought the most beautiful bike I have ever laid my eyes on... a Moto Guzzi 1000S

How/when I first became interested in Moto Guzzi: I've lived 2 years in Italy. Every day I saw this mighty looking California II in front of my house. I was in love;-)

My main type of riding is (competition/pleasure/commute/work): Pleasure and work


About my Guzzi...
What is it (model/year): 1000 S, march '90

How long I have owned it: Just bought it...

Is this my first Moto Guzzi: Yes

Other Guzzis in my stable: 0

Modifications I have made and why: None. I believe it's original!

The bike's main purpose is: To make me feel good

It's quirks: Don't know... It's in the shop for restauration/revision.

How it compares with other bikes I've owned: Nothing like it, I'm sure!

What it's like to live with: Must be awesome...

What it's like to ride: I'll know the 31st of juli 2009 (can't wait)

My bike's most appealing feature is: Looks and sound

My bike's best feature is: Engine (81hp), looks and sound

Would I recommend one like it to my best friend?: ...

Would I own another, given the chance: Perhaps, but I can only drive one at the time...

General Guzzi stuff...
What I think of current Guzzi models: I still have a weekness for the California II, the V7's, and the 750S's


If I could, the one I'd buy tomorrow: Is a V7 with a side-car (for family purposes;-)


My all time favourite Guzzi: 1000S!!!


If I were boss at Mandello I would: Put the 1000S back in the production-line
