Just picked up a deal on an '06 Breva 1100. After coming to terms with the clutch noise issue (jeeze), I have begun to really enjoy riding this bike. It runs and shifts smooth as ice. It's quicker than I had expected and handles quite nicely.

The bike has 14,600 miles and is in need of a 15,000 mile tune up. Other than a couple of minor paint flaking (lower forks) the bike looks to be in excellent condition. Does anyone know of chronic B1100 problems that I cna check out during the 15k service? Recalls, etc.?

Thanks

Hello. I've just joined this group. My name is Joe McWilliams and I live in East Texas, specifically Nacogdoches. I have recently purchased a 2003 Stone, my first Guzzi, and am currently awaiting delivery.

I've been riding bikes for over 40 years, beginning with an Allstate step-through scooter. I used it to deliver papers and it laid the foundation for my life-long passion with two-wheels. Over the years I've owned every Japanese brand, Triumph, BSA, BMW, Vespa, and Harley-D. Currently I have an '09 H-D Street glide, '80 Honda XR500, '68 Honda Trail 90(nearly complete rebuild), and now the '03 Guzzi Stone. I've wanted to try a Guzzi since the early '70's when I looked at one but couldn't affors to buy it on my grad student budget.

Anyway, I now have the Guzzi that I've always wanted and look forward to tapping the accumulated knowledge of this forum as I begin getting to know the bike and making mods to suit my riding preferences.

Cheers,
Joe
