How I found Squadra Guzzista: surfing net

How long have I been riding bikes? Thirty years

Why Moto Guzzi? simple engine laid back but torquey characteristics

How/when I first became interested in Moto Guzzi:about 2003,my lovely laverda 750s became bit of a pain for spares







My main type of riding is (competition/pleasure/commute/work):pleasure/work

What is it (model/year) V1100 breva 2005

How long I have owned it:since new

Is this my first Moto Guzzi:no my fourth

Other Guzzis in my stable:none

Modifications I have made and why:stubby silencer for sound and ease of rear wheel removal( mainly the sound!!),vents in fuel tank side shrouds to bleed off hot air to prevent excess heat on legs in summer,mesh covered vents on front fender just to break up the somewhat large expanse of 'dull' plastic




The bike's main purpose is:FUN and more FUN

It's quirks:slightly soggy suspension

How it compares with other bikes I've owned: comfy superb build quality

What it's like to live with easy
What it's like to ride: easy but sometimes a bit of a hanfull at low speed manuverse

My bike's most appealing feature is:engine characteristics

My bike's best feature is:comfort ,broard torque curve

Would I recommend one like it to my best friend?:oh yes

Would I own another, given the chance:yes but the griso would be very tempting

General Guzzi stuff...
What I think of current Guzzi models: spot on but i think guzzi should diversify,a v-4 sports bike would be a good move


If I could, the one I'd buy tomorrow:MGS-01


My all time favourite Guzzi: V7


If I were boss at Mandello I would: send a spy to japan and beat them at there own game but with italian class and style!!!
