How long have I been riding bikes?
Started as 14 years old boy with an 1954 120cc DKW and then a 125cc Yamaha in 1974. Had a long break until 40? but came back after a long stop since 6-7 years ago.
Why Moto Guzzi?
Love at first sight when I saw the Coppa Italia on picture. Just needed to have one.
How/when I first became interested in Moto Guzzi:
Always loved the good V-twin sound.
My main type of riding is (competition/pleasure/commute/work):
Plain pleasure.

About my Guzzi...
What is it (model/year): V11 Coppa Italia, 2005

How long I have owned it: Since 2006

Is this my first Moto Guzzi: Yes

Other Guzzis in my stable: No, but a 1957 Lambretta scooter and a Fiat 500.

Modifications I have made and why: It was already equipped with Öhlins fork, Öhlins steering damper, Öhlins shock absorber and Moto Guzzi competition exhaust when I picked it up new from the dealer. Afterwards I have shifted footpeg kit to move position some 30 mm forward and 40 mm down. Had to do this as I am 189 cm rather than an shortish Italian.

The bike's main purpose is:
Impress on other motorcyclists.
It's quirks:

How it compares with other bikes I've owned:
Had an Aprilia Caponord before and it had better seating comfort I must admit.

What it's like to live with: Suuper!! Everyone wants to have a closer look wherever I come with the bike. (One of only two of it´s kind in Sweden.)

What it's like to ride:

My bike's most appealing feature is: The D-size cup cylinders so openly displayed.

My bike's best feature is:

Would I recommend one like it to my best friend?: No, not at all. I want to be the only one owing this model.

Would I own another, given the chance: Never!
